Behavioural & Functional Competency Mapping

An electrical testing & research based organization aiming to identify and plan specific training interventions across various levels in the organization hired the services of Naman for doing competency mapping across levels.

Naman understood the structure and business of the organization to identify unique jobs based on differences in knowledge and skill required. Based on inputs from various subject matter experts, top performers and Heads of various departments, the functional competencies were identified for each of the unique roles along with specific behavioral competencies.

Naman also collated and identified relevant behavior indicators and performance indicators for each of the functional and behavioral competencies in each proficiency level for a given job. At the end of the project, Naman submitted an exhaustive competency dictionary that included functional & behavioral competency dictionary along with behavior indicators and mapping of the proficiency levels to each identified unique job.
